Greenwich, CT and Manhattan Psychotherapist and Psychoanalyst for Adults, Adolescents and Families: Lisa Mounts, LCSW.

Lisa MountsEveryone experiences periods of anxiety, disappointment, stress or sadness from time to time. Whether provoked by challenges at work, a life transition or difficulty in a relationship, finding a therapist who can effectively help you to overcome life’s normal challenges can be a difficult and confusing process. There are many different types of mental health professionals, a wide range of therapeutic approaches and widely divergent levels of professional training.  A first step to feeling better is finding a therapist who understands your situation and who is sufficiently trained and skilled to provide effective treatment.
In helping patients address their worries and concerns, I use a results-oriented approach and employ over 20  years of intensive experience and training that I have had in both psychotherapy and psychoanalysis in the U.S. and the United Kingdom. Through my training and the wide variety of therapeutic settings and patient specialties I have built the expertise to assess your situation and determine with you how to most effectively intervene.
My philosophy is to provide the highest quality treatment, with a compassionate approach, that is focused on the goal of lasting change.  My aim is to help you feel better so that you can live life to the fullest.
